Children Succeed
Dear Friends,
As you know, lawyers care for children more than most people
in other professions. We have a unique insight into the difficulties children
face, whether in divorce, neglect, family court or juvenile delinquency. We
also know the positive impact of preventative and support programs like the
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend.
Like you, we dream of a world where every child is
given an opportunity to succeed and YOU can make that happen in OUR community.
We have seen firsthand the extremely effective and efficient
services that the Boys & Girls Clubs deliver to our children, which studies
prove help kids stay in school and avoid succumbing to negative influences.
We know you care about the future of our children, and we
ask that you forgo lunch for just a day to make a minimum $10 contribution to
the 2009 Annual Campaign and join your fellow lawyers in supporting our
children. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated.
It just takes one person to make a difference. Your
contribution -- no matter the amount -- will mean the world to more than
7,000 children living right here in the Big Bend, as you enable our local Boys
& Girls Clubs to provide them with hope for a bright future.
