Dear Teammates, Family, and Friends, Everybody:
To all my high school friends and teammates, All my Florida State University friends and teammates, All coaches, supporters, family members, everyone. Through life I have encountered many people, and now I am reaching out to you all. The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Big Bend have taken many financial hits as with most people in this economic crisis. We have already lost three clubs, and it troubles me to think we may have to shut down more clubs. I have taken this personally and it has fallen on my heart to be a leader for the youth and families I and my staff serve; for the kids my co workers serve, for the people I work for and with. We have really talented people in place, and do great things. Our organization does so much for the children in this community, we teach them, encourage them, love them, develop them, guide them and protect them. We offer so many programs, broaden their horizons and inspire them. I challenge you, if you do not know about what we do within the Boys and Girls Club, to come to our website, visit our clubs, be a part of something great, because that is what we are. The economy is tough right now, but every little bit will help. I am asking for you all to help me reach my Goal. My personal goal is $50,000 by July 1st 2009. I am sending this to everyone I know. If you can spare anything, from .50 cent, to $5.00 to $1000, it will all add up. Every little bit helps, but if you can not spare anything, then help me by finding someone who can, and if they can not, then spread the word until we find everyone who can. The more people who know, the better our chances for success. I extend this far past Tallahassee, to all people who care what happens to our youth today. Today's youth are tomorrow's leader, we need to sow seeds for the future.
